Passing on biodiversity to future generations

Since 1994, the Pomona Gardens have been realizing and supporting this objective in Puglia, in Cisternino, in Valle d'Itria, the valley of the trulli.

A donation to save Ostaria

Starting from February 2024, with delivery in June '24, when the seedlings will be rooted and leafing, you will have the opportunity to book Ostaria and receive a story of this extraordinary discovery written by Paolo Belloni.

Visit

A memorable journey into biodiversity

The main collection is dedicated to the species Ficus carica: 600 figs from Afghan, Bosnian, French, Portuguese, Albanian, Israeli and naturally Italian and Apulian figs: this is one of the most important collections in Europe and the Mediterranean basin, for quality and variety.

Preserve, transform, taste. Different experiences to enjoy alone or in a group with the experts in the preservation and processing of fruit from the Pomona Gardens.

“The ten hectares of the Conservatory, managed with an organic method, combine the conservation of nature with low-impact tourist hospitality, in a landscape context of great charm.”
